Family Fun, Food, and Live Music

Members of the greater Wilmington community are invited to enjoy music, games, food, a petting zoo, and fun at Brightmore of Wilmington senior living community’s annual Fall Festival. The family-friendly event will be held on Friday, October 9 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on the senior living community’s campus. Admission is free.

Brightmore of Wilmington in Wilmington, North Carolina, is a premier senior living community offering vibrant independent living. Its beautiful campus also includes The Kempton of Brightmore Assisted Living and The Commons of Brightmore Assisted Living and Memory Care.

Live music will be performed by Port City Rockers.

The festival will feature a variety of kid friendly games and activities including pumpkin painting, tattoos, the Hoof Mobile Petting Zoo, and more.

Food will be provided by Morrison Living and Smash Burgers, with proceeds benefitting the Alzheimer’s Association North Carolina.

Raffle Supports Alzheimer’s Association of North Carolina

Local individuals, organizations, and businesses have donated more than 40 gift baskets that will be raffled. Proceeds from raffle ticket sales will also benefit Alzheimer’s Association North Carolina.

A Community Tradition With a Purpose

“Brightmore of Wilmington’s  Fall Festival is a wonderful opportunity to open our doors and bring residents, families and friends from the community together for an afternoon of fun,” said Lisa Sherrill, Executive Director. “It’s always rewarding to see everyone enjoying the festivities and spending time together. Even more meaningful is that the event supports an organization whose mission is especially important to us and to the work we do every day with our residents at The Commons Memory Care.”

Parking will be available on the campus of Brightmore of Wilmington, 2324 S. 41st Street and at Liberty Senior Living at 2334 S. 41st Street.
