Fresh Air and Exercise: A Great Combination

October 15, 2020

Since the start of Covid, residents at The Kempton have been having “Sit and Stretch” exercise class without their normal instructor, Paula; and, they have missed her greatly. Recently, she was able to come and lead an exercise class outdoors. The weather was lovely, and everyone enjoyed having Paula back! We will be looking forward to seeing her and exercising outdoors every Wednesday!

National Assisted Living Week celebrated at The Kempton

Feeding Kids Through COVID-19 Donation Drive Results Are In!

After a very successful donation drive to support Nourish NC, a non-profit agency that provides hungry children in New Hanover County with healthy food,Brightmore raised $2,753.00! Lisa Sherrill, Life Enrichment Director for Brightmore Independent Living, presented the donation to Katelyn Mattox, Program Director of Nourish NC.
