Meet Dave at The Kempton! ❤️🐾
We had the joy of spending time with our incredible therapy dog, Dave. He’s a rescue from another county who overcame a very tough start in life.
After being adopted by Kim Badrock and her son Hutton, they quickly discovered that Dave absolutely loves people. With his gentle spirit and natural ability to comfort others, he was trained as a therapy dog — and now he visits us several times a month.
Dave brings so much happiness to our residents and staff. His story is a beautiful reminder of the incredible things rescue dogs can become and the amazing people who help them get there. 🐶✨

Our main hydration station is always a favorite — even our mailman, UPS, and FedEx drivers look for it when they stop by! Families, residents, and staff love the infused water because it’s beautiful, refreshing, and delicious.

Kindness Crew at The Kempton ❤️
At The Kempton, our Kindness Crew gathers each month to select a special project aimed at bringing joy or raising awareness for others. Helping those in need brings us immense satisfaction, and we think kindness is contagious.
As we approached the end of March, we recognized Vietnam Veterans Day, a day dedicated to honoring all who served in Vietnam. Residents at The Kempton crafted over 100 cards to distribute to Vietnam Veterans in Southeastern North Carolina. We take great pride in honoring and appreciating our veterans and service members.
