Brightmore of Wilmington Will Host Its Annual Fall Festival 2025 for the Greater Wilmington Community to Benefit the Dementia Alliance of NC
Members of the greater Wilmington community are invited to enjoy music, games, food and fun at Brightmore of Wilmington senior living community’s annual Fall Festival. The family-friendly event will be held on October 10th from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on the senior living community’s campus. Admission is free.
Brightmore of Wilmington is a premier senior living community offering vibrant independent living. Its beautiful campus also includes The Kempton of Brightmore Catered Assisted Living and The Commons of Brightmore Assisted Living and Memory Care.
The festival will feature a variety of kid-friendly games, farm animals, and activities, including our inaugural cupcake walk. Paws4People will be present with a few of their furry friends. There will be food and beverages, including Jeremiah’s Italian Ice’s food truck on-site.
Live music will be performed by Port City Rockers.

Local individuals, organizations, and businesses have donated gift baskets that will be raffled. Proceeds will benefit the Dementia Alliance of North Carolina, which supports education and research into Alzheimer’s and dementia.
“Our annual Fall Festival is a great time for us to welcome our neighbors onto our beautiful campus for a fun family event. It’s also a wonderful opportunity to support a cause that’s near and dear to our hearts,” said Lisa Sherrill, Executive Director. ”We are dedicated to providing the best care and services to our residents in The Commons Memory Care at Brightmore, as well as their families, and the greater Wilmington community.
Parking will be available on the campus of Brightmore of Wilmington, 2324 S. 41st Street and at Liberty Senior Living at 2334 S. 41st Street.
For those who cannot attend, donations are welcome and can be mailed or dropped off on the campus.
