Game On at Brightmore of Wilmington!
Brightmore of Wilmington residents brought energy, laughter, and friendly competition to one
of the community’s most anticipated traditions, the Brightmore of Wilmington Olympic Games.
Forty-eight residents participated in 19 fun-filled events, including Yarts, bocce ball, putting, and
more. “It was exciting to challenge ourselves and cheer each other on,” one resident shared.

The celebration included a spirited awards ceremony honoring everyone’s efforts.
Launched by Liberty Senior Living in 2018 for its independent living communities, the Olympic
Games encourage movement, mental engagement, and connection across the communities.
This year we introduced ALympics for The Kempton and The Commons at Brightmore assisted
living residents.
Top independent living competitors from Brightmore’s Olympic Games headed to Hayes Barton
Place in Raleigh, North Carolina, in March to represent their community in the corporate-wide
Liberty Senior Games.
