The Commons – Personal Care
As part of the Brightmore campus, The Commons is home to residents who need more moderate to substantial assistance with activities of daily living. In a comfortable, home-like setting, our clinical staff finds the ideal balance for each resident; providing them with the care they need while encouraging self-reliance where possible.
All in one convenient location, residents have ease of access to numerous amenities and services including a salon and barber shop, restaurant-style dining room, and several activity and game spaces. There’s a space for everyone and everything, enhancing the lifestyle of those who trust us with their care.
At The Commons, our whole-person wellness programming focuses on the physical, spiritual, intellectual, and social well-being of each resident we serve. These programs are designed specifically with the residents’ in mind, playing to the strengths of their remaining capabilities and fostering continued engagement in their daily lives.

Paraklay Way at The Commons
Paraklay is a Greek word meaning encouragement, help and comfort, and is the perfect name for our Memory Care residence inside The Commons at Brightmore. For those individuals experiencing cognitive loss from Alzheimer’s or other dementia related symptoms, Paraklay Way is a licensed memory care community. With an open-concept design, residents are encouraged to move freely in a secure environment fostering a sense of control and autonomy.
Our approach to memory care celebrates residents’ current capabilities, focusing on activities and interactions that create a sense of purpose specific to each individual. With programs that focus on social and physical well-being, residents continue to live a well-balanced life with encouragement and support from our highly-trained, clinical staff.

Commons Floor Plans
We offer two living arrangements with large closets, private and companion rooms, providing enough floor space for personal items and design touches. Companion rooms share one full bath. If desired, we will furnish a bed, dresser, and nightstand at no additional charge. Personalized placement of our built-in emergency call system assures help is always close by.
