Violet’s Feeders and Feathers!

Excited and honored to team up with Beth and Glen Hultberg and their program Violet’s Feeders and Feathers! VFF was born to honor Beth’s mom, Violet Schultz. After her passing, they wanted to create a service she would have cherished. Violet found comfort in watching birds from her sunporch window with a special birdfeeder, despite mobility issues. This brought her immense joy and entertainment, capturing every moment with her camera to share the excitement with others.

In memory of Violet, VFF is committed to providing bird feeders, seeds, and bird identifying books to individual senior living residents. Their hope is to bring joy and peace through the beauty of birds’ presence.

This week, Beth visited The Commons at Brightmore and installed bird feeders, a beautiful windchime, and a generous supply of birdseed for a whole month! She also provided bird identification guides and encourages everyone to capture pictures of the visiting birds. Beth plans to check in regularly, providing birdseed to our residents free of charge.
