Valentine’s Day is always an exciting celebration at The Kempton!

As a result of COVID, we are doing things a little different this year. However, the much anticipated tradition of the residents voting for the Valentine’s King and Queen continued. Congratulations go to …the Queen – Nancy McConnell and King – Allen McConnell!

Residents created Valentine’s Day pins, magnets and flowers. Cards were made by the residents for their family members with a picture of each resident in the card.

In addition, residents readily shared Valentine’s advice with the younger generation. Guessing how many conversation hearts were in a jar was delightful. Can you guess?

Each resident received a chocolate covered rose, a Valentine’s candy bag and a Valentine’s Day card. Yesterday, a special meal was served to celebrate.
