Brightmore residents and Liberty communities enjoyed an absolutely beautiful day on the beach for our Annual Sr. Beach Day! The sun was shining; the water was glassy and calm, with beautiful waves perfect for surfing and swimming. The breeze was blowing and all residents had the time of their lives! Ocean Cure joined us with volunteers that assisted our residents to the beach, surfing and swimming. Who thought, at ages 80-90, you’d ever surf the waves? Three of our Brightmore residents did: Clara Hodges, Judy Colwell, and Phyllis Ambler! “Best day ever!” said Clara. “I can’t wait to post my pictures for the grandkids to see!” Phylllis said. “How much fun was that!” Judy exclaimed. Creating these experiences for our residents and community is what Independent Living is all about…Memories they will never forget!
