The Kempton Has 1st First Book Club Meeting

The Kempton at Brightmore of Wilmington had our first book club meeting, and it turned out wonderful; several of our residents gathered around our Country Kitchen table and received the first chapter from the Book, “The Bartered Bride” collection. The Activity Director, Jennifer Alaimo, read aloud as the residents listened and read along. The discussion following was very interesting and intense. The book focused on woman having arranged marriages. Book club members departed with chapter two to read before our next meeting which will be every Wednesday till the book is completed.
