An estimated 6.2 million Americans, age 65 and older, are living with Alzheimer’s dementia in 2021. June is Alzheimer’s and Brain awareness month. The focus aims to help educate and inform people on these conditions.
June 18th, Brightmore of Wilmington campus was excited to stand up to the darkness of Alzheimer’s. They participated in The Longest Day event with a raffle and walk. The Longest day is the day the Alzheimer’s Association calls on everyone to fight Alzheimer’s disease. Team #brightmoreofilm raised over $2,500 that will go directly to the Alzheimer’s Association!
