Brightmore kicked off its fundraising season for Dementia Alliance of NC with inviting our Brightmore community, outside community guests, friends and family to our Annual “Fall Book & Gift Fair”, presented by Collective Goods. Brightmore’s Fitness Center changed into a department store for two days. It provided residents and others the opportunity to find friends and family the perfect gift for the holidays and other important days. We were filled to the brim with wonderful books, cards, children’s items, home and garden items, latest technology gadgets, and much more…plus the prices were fabulous! The best part was that a percent of the proceeds will go straight to Dementia Alliance, and the monies will stay locally to help those families and caregivers living with a family member who has Alzheimer’s or Dementia.
