Our Residents love the yoga class!
The Kempton Assisted Living has a seated yoga class twice a month. This is a time for residents to relax their mind while exercising their body. Yoga is defined as a Hindu spiritual and ascetic discipline, a part of which, including breath control, simple meditation, and the adoption of specific bodily postures, is widely practiced for health and relaxation. Yoga is a great activity for you if you have diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or heart disease. It gives you strength, flexibility, and mind-body awareness.

Some benefits of Yoga for seniors includes improved sleep habits, relief from aches and pain, reduced blood pressure, improved flexibility and range of motion. Residents love the yoga class and always look forward to the next one.
