The North Carolina Aquarium’s Outreach Program made a stop at The Commons this week. The focus was a “Turtle Time” program. The educators lead us on a journey to examine the lives of turtles. Of course that was from land, freshwater, and the sea. In addition, we saw live turtles, shells and games for their hands-on program. We especially loved hearing about the amazing turtles that are found in North Carolina and about what we can do to help the endangered turtle population!
