New Year 2016 in true “Brightmore Style!”

Brightmore ended 2015 and rung in the New Year 2016 in true “Brightmore Style!”

Brightmore residents celebrated early in the afternoon and had a Pre-New Year’s Eve Social combined with our monthly Newcomers’ Social on Thursday. Delicious festive appetizers were passed around as we listened to entertainment provided by one of our favorite guitar players, Jim Seam, from Florida! We popped the champagne corks so that everyone could be a part of a Pre-New Year’s Eve Toast and Countdown for those residents who do not stay awake for the actual midnight countdown. Our Director, Georgia Blankenship, provided the New Year’s Toast to a very Happy & Healthy 2016, and we all counted down from 10 to the start of a wonderful year together! However, we do still have a few “Night-Owls” who came down to celebrate with each other from 11:00 pm till Midnight and watched the ball drop together in true Brightmore Style…party hats, noise makers, beads, food and of course, champagne! Brightmore wishes everyone a very Happy New Year!
