Living Seashells: A Visit from the Aquarium at Fort Fisher

Thursday afternoon the Aquarium at Fort Fisher made a special visit to the Kempton. The outreach program from the Aquarium did a program called Living Seashells with outreach coordinator Kristin Holloman. The Kempton residents had a chance to get up close with four different “living seashells”: the sea star, the hermit crab, the snail and sea urchin. Kristin was very informative and knew all the answers to all questions. We all had a blast and cannot wait to have the Aquarium back to the Kempton!
