It’s Still Rock-N-Roll to Me!

The residents at Brightmore Independent were surprised with a Door-to-Door 50’s Rock-N-Roll Themed Wine & Cheese!  The staff dressed the part, played 50’s Rock-N-Roll music, and served individually wrapped plates of cheese, crackers and grapes while dancing in the hallways! Residents were also served a glass of wine or ginger ale to toast to another Healthy Week!

As residents opened their doors, you could see the joy!  This gave them the opportunity to wave, smile, say hello, dance, and toast with the staff and some of their neighbors they have not seen in a while.  It not only uplifted the residents, but also the staff!  We are so used to seeing our community together celebrating several times a month, so to be able to do a much abbreviated version of this fulfilled a missing spot in our lives and hearts too.
