Get a Good Night’s Sleep
March 2, 2017
Brightmore University’s Seated Night Yoga on February 24th was instructed by Annette Crumpton. Annette is one of Brightmore’s Aquatic and Yoga instructors. She demonstrated slow moving stretches that are great to use before bed time and took us through a guided mediation segment that allowed our busy minds to focus on the imagery recited to us. As the class left for the evening, they were able to pick out a “sleepy-time tea” to enjoy before bed. This is the second time that Brightmore has had a seated night yoga class, and the residents enjoy it. Many residents have said how much they truly enjoy night yoga, and they can see the benefits of using this as a tool for a better night sleep.
