The Kempton residents celebrated Mother’s Day with a special tea party. All of the tea pots, cups and dishes were donated to the Kempton Assisted Living by a very special past resident’s family. The Kempton has turned their private dining room into a tea room dedicated to Flora Materio the resident. The Tea Party appetizers included egg salad tea sandwiches, crab cakes, fresh made parmesan cup salads, mini cheese cakes and scones made by our own dietary supervisor Lisa Ritter. For entertainment Carole Bowman Greene played the harp. Each resident received unique pin with a handkerchief for their Mother’s Day present. The tea was a great success we cannot wait to have our next tea party.
