February is Recreation Therapy Month! To honor this special month for our Staff Recreation Therapist, Madeline Woodard LRT-CTRS, and her Intern Haley Turbeville who is in the Recreation Therapy Internship program; Brightmore had a Spirit Week!
It was a fun week with staff dressing up every day, and some residents helping out along the way. Monday was “Bright Color Day”, Tuesday was “Sports Team Day”, Wednesday was “Fun Hat Day”, Thursday was “Throwback Thursday”, and Friday was “Twinning Day”. For Twining Day, our Maintenance department switched with Wellness department. Lots of laughs and fun this week for all!
