Brightmore’s last holiday trip before we celebrate Christmas was “Enchanted Airlie” Gardens. The residents bundled up to go and experience the most festive Christmas lights outlining this beautiful garden established in 1901, which borders the Intracoastal Waterway.
As we grabbed hot cocoa, cookies and popcorn, we also enjoyed the many poinsettias and countless camellias that seemed to have bloomed just at the right time this winter! We ended our evening taking a bus ride with “Elfie” through the lighted community of Parkside at Mayfair.
What a JOLLY evening we had as we await Christmas Day next week!
