Once a month the residents are able to attend a Night Yoga Class, with rotating instructors. Night Yoga with Fran consists of gentle stretches, gentle breathing, and allowing the mind to relax through an easy guided meditation to end the class. On the way out, the residents are able to take a sleepy time herbal tea to take back to their apartments to sip on, to continue to relax their bodies and minds before they go to bed. The class takes place at 7:00 pm. Before class, Madeline blacks out the mirrors of the fitness center and dims the lights to get the fitness room darker, to be easier on the eyes. Residents enjoy this time to themselves and relaxing through breathing and easy movements.
