You Are Never Too Old To Keep Learning!

Brightmore has always promoted senior lifelong learning, and we were fully immersed with our Brightmore University Classes and Educational DVD sessions before COVID-19. We quickly realized that just because we could not bring in professional speakers or meet in group settings, we definitely needed to continue our education courses for our residents during this time.

The Great Courses is a professional DVD lecture series that encompasses every area of learning possible. In the past three months, the residents of Brightmore have completed three different subjects: National Geographic’s Wonders of the National Parks, Scientific Secrets for a Powerful Memory, and Zoology-Understanding the Animal World. These are lengthy courses that usually last 12 weeks. It has been rewarding to hear our residents express how grateful they are to have this outlet. You never grow too old to keep learning!
