“With Courage” – A Salute to All Our Heroes from the Wilmington Symphonic Winds

Brightmore took a group over to UNCW Kenan Auditorium for the Wilmington Symphonic Winds Concert titled “With Courage”, featuring the world premiere of Gehrig by Mark Camphouse. The concert was in memory of all our heroes with the most recent school shooting in California and all the lives that were lost during that tragic event. Symphonic Winds conductor, Dominic Talanca, put thought in every song played, and they all had a memorable slide show to go along with it. The songs included: America Salute, Until Moring Come, Slava!, Gehrig, Folk Festival and A Century of Service. It was a beautiful tribute and left us all feeling very blessed as we returned home.
