Wacky Water Walk!

February is recreation therapy month, so what better way to celebrate than to have a “wacky-tacky” day and Wacky Water Walk?!  Staff had a fun day dressing up with the residents and aren’t biased, but one of our favorite outfits was “Winnie the pool” sweatshirt! Our water walk was a huge success, walking 77 Laps around the Brightmore pool; and as always stopping half way for mimosas, strawberries, pineapple and don’t forget the chocolate! The mile walks around the Brightmore pool are so much fun, lots of laughter and fun. This is one of their favorite things to do, and Madeline and Lisa enjoy doing this with them. “We look forward to quarterly walks with a new theme, and seeing what kinds of things that the residents come up to say in the pool! Every time is always a new fun walk and memory!
