Independent Living“Up To Date”

The “Up to Date” courses help residents stay engaged by learning about any issue: current events, community outreach, local community issues, medical updates, Medicare changes, and or anything that relates to seniors and will help them as they continue to age. Frank Beard was requested by one of our residents, Carol Doniere, because she truly believes in the vision devises that he sales to help seniors or anyone who has vision loss to be able to read something as simple as the newspaper or make sure they are writing their checks correctly. We had over 15 residents attend that are having those issues right now and this gave them some helpful information to guide them as their vision continues to diminish.
