We had fun with “Carnival Style” games to get the residents excited for the Summer Olympics that is on the horizon!
The first day we had “Mardi Gras” games with cones and beads. The goal was to see how many points you could earn for throwing 12 sets of beads and trying to score them on the cones or the big crown.
Day 2 was winter curling and snowball Skee ball.
Day 3 was Winter Wii games on the Wii balance board. We had the residents complete Skiing and Snowboarding to see how well they did as well as try their best at winter Ping-Pong.
On our final day, we completed a big winter relay race that took place in the fitness center with different stations to compete.
We finished the week off with a Winter BYOB social. What a fun week enjoying some games and staying active! The Winter Games week at Brightmore was a success!
