Jean is one of our wonderful volunteers who comes here to the Kempton every Monday. She does a program with the residents called “Remember When.” Each program she does is different, and this week’s program was called “Small is Good.” Jean provided each resident with a worksheet that was fill in the blank. Together Jean and residents filled in each blank with a word that means a small or insignificant quantity, a small portion of a much larger whole. For example, “a pinch” or “dash” of salt would be a small amount of salt. There could be more than one answer. The residents enjoyed this program and love having Jean here every Monday.
