Brain Awareness Week (BAW) is a nationwide effort organized by the Dana Alliance for Brain Initiatives and the Society for Neuroscience. The Society for Neuroscience is a professional society, headquartered in Washington, DC, for basic scientists and physicians around the world whose research is focused on the study of the brain and nervous system. The purpose is to promote public and personal benefits of brain research. The official week for the next BAW was March 11-17, 2019. The Kempton residents celebrated Brain Awareness Week with some brain fitness worksheets. We learned all about how the brain functions while having fun. Prizes were given out to everyone who attended the fun morning. Happy Brain Awareness Week!
