The campus of Brightmore of Wilmington was excited to spend a day at the beach with our friends from Ocean Cure. Ocean Cure is a non-profit organization based out of Carolina Beach, NC. It is their mission to provide increased beach accessibility to our coast, and to help improve the quality of life for their participants through surfing .

The weather was perfect for this year’s annual “Senior Beach Day.” Residents at Brightmore and The Commons enjoyed the day going out into the ocean, playing cornhole, spending time with friends and soaking up the sun. It was another great event thanks to our friends at Ocean Cure. We can’t wait until the next time we can dip our toes in the ocean!
