See Brightmore’s New Outdoor Gaming Area!

Brightmore is excited about their new outdoor gaming area and patio! In the past weeks, Brightmore residents have been joining in small groups of four to learn Shuffle Board, one of the four new outdoor games that will be available to everyone as soon as our Fall weather arrives! Residents will have the opportunity to learn the rules to Shuffle Board, Bocce Ball and Corn Hole. We also have a new Putting Green too! The residents have really enjoyed learning Shuffle Board. Bocce Ball will be next!

After a very successful donation drive to support Nourish NC, a non-profit agency that provides hungry children in New Hanover County with healthy food,Brightmore raised $2,753.00! Lisa Sherrill, Life Enrichment Director for Brightmore Independent Living, presented the donation to Katelyn Mattox, Program Director of Nourish NC.
