Act Happy Week brings it all out!

Don’t Worry…Be Happy! 😊
The Kempton Spirit Week was last week, which was also “Act Happy Week”. The residents and staff dressed in there tackiest and wackiest clothes on Monday; Tuesday, everyone was cozy and comfy with Pajama Day. Wednesday, everyone wore green in honor of St. Patrick’s Day; Thursday was Twin Day, and Friday, the residents and staff wore tie-dye shirts and masks that they made the previous week. It was a fun week and a great way to celebrate “Act Happy Week”!

In 1987, Congress declared the entire month of March Women’s History Month. The Commons at Brightmore residents celebrated with fun reminiscing trivia games. We learned all about the famous ladies who paved the way. They championed for voting rights, civil rights, and fair labor laws.
