Love is in the Air at Brightmore Independent Living

Love was so sweet Sunday afternoon for the “Valentine’s Day Brunch” at Brightmore retirement community. The residents and their families had a great time socializing, drinking mimosas, going through the candy bar to get some “to-go” goodies, and having a large buffet selection to choose from. Some of the hot most-talked-about items on the buffet were the stuffed flounder with crab meat, a tender beef medallion, gouda gratin potatoes, breakfast casserole, and squash medley blend. Let’s not forget about the delicious desserts that were also on the buffet: salted caramel pretzel brownies, marble cakes, and cheesecake parfaits! The decorations got everyone in the Valentine’s Day spirit with hearts, sweet flowers, pink hot air balloons, and tulle. Everyone had a fantastic time, and the staff loved seeing everyone so dressed up in their pretty pink, red, and white outfits, and the men in their suits and dress clothes.
