Let the Fundraising Events Commence!

On Friday, October 4^th, the Kempton had a BBQ Fundraiser to support Dementia Alliance NC. The fundraiser lasted from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm in the Café at the Kempton. Morrisons dining services made delicious BBQ plates that included pulled pork, baked beans, coleslaw, cornbread, cookies, and a canned drink. The price was $8.00, and all proceeds went to Dementia Alliance NC. The Kempton raised around $400. Our next campus fundraisers for Dementia Alliance NC will be on October 11^th, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, at The Commons with Chicken Sandwiches, followed by a Potato and Chili Bar on October 25^th, from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at Brightmore. The fundraising will end on November 1^st at our annual Fall Festival with the band L Shaped Lot from 4pm – 8 pm, behind the Kempton.  There will be raffles, food and drinks available.  Hope to see you there!
