Keeping Active with The Kempton
The Kempton is lucky to have our very own certified fitness instructor, Paula Scott. She comes to the Kempton three times a week on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings to teach our Sit and Stretch Class. Each class has a variety of exercises that are done in a seated position. Some classes include hand weights and/or other exercise equipment like foam balls. The classes are unique and push the residents as much as they feel comfortable. Mrs. Charlene Hinnant, a resident here at the Kempton, attends Sit and Stretch almost every class; she says, “Exercise is so important, especially as you get older. We are so blessed to have this wonderful exercise class here at the Kempton!”
