Joyful Moment’s this years Theme!

This week is National Assisted Living week and this year’s theme is “Joyful Moments.” At The Commons we are going “Up, Up & Away” on our very own hot air balloon ride across the country.

For our kickoff we celebrated our home state of North Carolina and learned important facts about our beloved Wilmington. We also painted hot air balloons and enjoyed Cheerwine floats.
Of course, our staff wanted to capture some joyful moments as well. This week, we are on the hunt for adorable childhood pictures of our staff in our Staff Scavenger Hunt. We are also enjoying a special ice cream treat from Bruster’s Real Ice Cream .

Throughout the week we will be having a masquerade party, going country in Nashville, exploring the Southwest and finally ending our week with a day in Las Vegas .
