The definition of grateful is feeling or showing an appreciation of kindness and thankfulness. Residents and staff have a lot to be thankful for here at the Commons. Jan Green is one of the reasons everyone is grateful. Jan has been the area director of Paraklay Way since 1989, and she is retiring on April 1, 2019. Jan’s dedication, thoughtfulness and compassion have touched every single person who she has met. Our residents wanted to start her farewell off with a small party on Paraklay way where we presented a retirement wish jar full of wishes and hopes for Jan’s journey into retirement. Our residents also gave Jan tips on how to enjoy her retirement while eating cake and ice cream. We will miss you Jan!
