Brightmore Wilmington Donation to Cape Fear Literacy Council

Brightmore held its 8th Annual Holiday Charity Craft Bazaar in November. Every year Brightmore crafters and needle workers work diligently all year round; then the Saturday before Thanksgiving, we bring all the crafts together and have a Craft Bazaar. One hundred percent of the proceeds go to support a local charity.

This year we chose the Cape Fear Literacy Council Adult Theater Program. They performed for us earlier in the year, and we wanted to be able to support them in their endeavor to teach adults in our community to read and be successful. We are excited to announce that we raised $1,396.50 and were able to present a check to them at their Christmas party!
