Brightmore is Crafting for a Cause!

Brightmore of Wilmington’s dedicated crafters got together this week to continue crafting for our “Crafting for a Cause” Bazaar that will take place in November.  I know this sounds like it may be early to start thinking about a holiday bazaar, but our crafters get together twice a month and work diligently to store up enough crafts for this event. They take pride in all their projects because the more crafts they make, the more crafts we will have to sell and the more money we will make to donate to a local charity. This month we made Button Bouquets.  We painted the inside of small spice bottles in spring and summer colors and made flowers out of buttons. A very cute gift to give a friend to brighten up their day! One of our avid crafters and knitters, Barbara Ivers, also knitted Easter Bunnies to sale just for the holiday to help raise a little extra money!
