Brightmore had a busy past week full of activities! The Harmony Belles visited for a concert, Chapter 885 Vietnam Veterans of America visited and honored our Veterans, the Red Hat Society Victorian Roses chapterdid sing-a-long caroling, and Mo McKenna led a step by step painting class!
While waiting for gifts to be wrapped at the community gift wrapping station, Independent Living Residents built gingerbread houses!
Brightmore celebrated the holiday season with a Winter Solstice Party! Residents enjoyed great food, great music, and great company!
Kempton Residents enjoyed a visit from the Grinch, and Grinch inspired food such as: roast beast, green eggs and ham, Who-hash, mean greens, baked apples, and Whoville pudding.
Independent Living residents had a blast attending Mike’s Farm for dinner. They took in a Christmas show, as well as a hayride of lights! A perfect way to get in the holiday spirit!
It is the most wonderful time of the year here at the Commons at Brightmore! Residents helped decorate our tree and everyone is getting into the holiday spirit. The residents at Brightmore are getting into the Holiday Spirit! We had an outing to the NC Aquarium at Fort Fisher for the Cape Fear Festival of Trees.
